2. • Transfusion istration enables a caregiver to positively identify the patient and the istration of blood products using bar-code technology by scanning the blood bank recipient document and comparing this to the donor bank label on the blood product.
3. • Specimen Collections enables a caregiver to positively identify the patient and specimen collections at the point of collection using bar-code technology.
4. • Breast Milk Management enables a caregiver to positively identify the patient and the management of breast milk by scanning the bottle labels to ensure the correct milk is going to the correct patient.
